After a 25-year career in government and non profit, with significant roles including:
Executive Director, Human Rights Officer, Grants Program Officer, Trainer / Mediator, Communications and Outreach Officer, Community Development Specialist, Access and Equity Program Developer / Manager, and Advocate, in 2009 Sue conceived Healthy Hive Consultinga unique intersectoral, multi-service consultancy.

  • Certified Intercultural, Human Rights and Conflict Resolution educator and curriculum developer

  • Certified workplace mediator

  • Organizational change coach / consultant

  • Succession plan / career transition and wellness coach

  • Innovative collaborative Program Designer / Manager (and grant writer)

  • Community-based (action) researcher.

A recognized Non-profit Leader, Sue has received grants and awards from:

  • The Winnipeg Arts Council

  • The Winnipeg Foundation

  • The Ivey School of Business

In addition to her practitioner certificates, Sue has studied:

Sue is a Sessional Professor at Canadian Mennonite University (CMU) in the Peace Skills Degree Program and an Associate Trainer / Workplace Mediator for Mediation Services (MS). Currently at MS Sue is Lead Trainer for: Cultural Diversity, Communication and Conflict, Adapting to Change, and Assertive Communication.
